Blue Frog Therapies with Ben Taylor as owner and practitioner. His objective was to create nourishing, restorative and deeply valuable treatments that focus on the whole person.
The story began during Bens’ adventures. Whether it was during his practice of Chi Kung in a peace resort in New Zealand, his experience of living in the Caribbean, volunteering in Africa, in retreat in temples in Asia, train-hopping across the USA or meditating on the beaches of Australia, Ben encouraged his own mindfulness, observed and immersed himself into culture and absorbed and composed what he considered to be most important to health and well-being. Ben followed Buddhism for five years as a member of the Friends of the Western Buddhist Order, has been a carnivore, vegan and vegetarian at times and continues to meditate daily, retreat yearly and adventure when he can.
You will find Blue Frog Therapies in the Breathe treatment rooms at Millers yard. Nestled in the middle of York, yet hidden from the city-centre bustle, it’s a sanctuary during the day, evenings, and weekends. With Ben’s more than 10 years’ experience, you can be assured and confident of your comfort.
A carefully warmed room and oils. A thick fleece layer under brushed cotton sheets. Time to consider and to tailor your session. With your comfort assured and Bens attentive and mindful nature you can be confident you will be taken care of. Complement your session as you wish, making a massage more relaxing or concentrate on aches and knots. Make your meditation calmer or more focused. Draw attention where it is needed.
There is ample parking close at hand and Millers yard has a cafe, dance studio and meeting rooms.
Choose a treatment, combine different therapies together or keep an open mind as Ben will offer you time before the session begins to discuss and consider all your options. This will not reduce your treatment time.
